Context: I am an undergraduate student in one of Brazil's public universities, who lives on financial assistance of the university and my undergrad research fellowship, but those assistance amounts are becoming less and less able to cover the costs of maintaining myself in university, as housing and food costs are going through the roof in my city, and I can't even live at home with parents, because I do not have a home to go to.

My main source of supplementary income, translation, has been taking a nosedive with the advent of AI translation and automatization of translation, and so I go on for way too long without jobs to work, and I keep on getting myself into credit card debt and loans to cover basic needs or whenever something happens, like me getting sick and needing meds, which is very often. I have a terrible schooling schedule for me to get any type of job, as my university does not care for poorer students beyond the small financial assistance they give, and make you have to toil and beg to get. Meanwhile, my parents can help with some assistance, but it is becoming lesser and lesser and more unstable, and I share it with my sister.

I need to be able to finish my undergraduate, and be able to sustain myself through my graduate studies, and, on a shorter term, I need to gather up money, for example to move to a different place, where I can rent my own room instead of sharing it. Also, I need money for my monthly expenses, like food and transport. This is why I have decided to take up commissions, and applied for the Neopets fanart program (although I have yet to hear back from them).

Discovering the truth was my path to freedom, showing me that hiding was not the solution. My journey with depression is awful, and I know what it feels like to be targeted, to face lies, threats, and attempts to silence me. But here is the positive aspect: I have emerged from this experience! I learned through therapy how to stand up for myself against those who think they can possess me or use my past against me. Peace has become the foundation of my life, and I treasure it. I find strength in saying no to those who try to take advantage of me. Now is the time to stop staying in the shadows. I choose to embrace new opportunities. If anyone attempts to hurt me, I will block or timeout you. Like a sunrise bringing a fresh start, I am building my peaceful life and stepping forward with optimism and enthusiasm! I wanna express my sincere gratitude to all the incredible individuals who have stood by me throughout this journey. Your support has made all the difference, and I appreciate every one of you. Frankly, I appreciate your encouragement; it means so much to me! I am genuinely thankful for the positive changes I have experienced. honestly, when I saw it in that one Nintendo Direct, I was kinda curious about Fashion Dreamer. I've never really been for these kinds of games (I remember my sister playing Style Savvy on the DS a lot), but something about FD spoke to me when I saw it. I'm not going to purchase it yet since it just came out, and I feel I don't know enough about it or if I'd like it, but I'm looking forward to seeing if other people really enjoy it and figuring it out as time passes.

Talking about Stardust West

Stardust West is the name of a third-person space combat game that I'm tinkering with. I've heard this compared to Star Fox games, but I actually take a lot more inspiration from an old MMO that went by Space Cowboy Online.

I'm currently undecided on how the game looks and feels to play (and this video is using a lot of placeholders), so you can expect a lot to change.

Everdell

Everdell impresses with its complex but logical game mechanics, the loving drawings and the cute characters. A game that is known and loved  beyond the die-hard connoisseur circles.

It's a worker placement and city planning game with a favorite anthropomorphic animal theme.

The game is played in three seasons during which you have to mine resources and use them to expand your village community.

Each building and each character in the game has different abilities and effects, some of which significantly influence the player's strategy.

Should I rather collect more wood to convert it into victory points later, or should I save up for a building that gives me an advantage for all unique figures in my village? Can I fulfill the missions of the Evertree, is my village already full or do I have to discard cards with remaining workers in order to be superior to my opponents?

There are almost as many strategic ways to win as there are elements in the game itself. You are not under any external pressure from the other players. Everyone can experience and play their seasons at their own pace. Nevertheless, there are opportunities here and there to annoy others a little by placing rotten cards in their village, or occupying important worker spaces and waiting until a favorable time is reached to release them again.

Once the basic rules have been internalized after a few rounds, the manufacturer offers a variety of expansions to make the game even more exciting, complex and thrilling.

With Everdell, a game night will never be boring. If you haven't played it yet, it could be a real insider tip.

why does my sim, who is already holding her infant, have to go put him down and pick him up again because I directed her to change his diaper?

why does my other sim have to wake her wife up, hand off the baby, wife sets baby down, then the original sim picks him up JUST TO DO TUMMY TIME???

like I feel so sorry for the people who work on this game because it must suck to work for a company like EA that forces you to make a dog shit game like this
